The Teleradiology Externship Program is a comprehensive learning opportunity for medical students, radiology residents, and pre-professional undergraduate students seeking US clinical experience. This program is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world practice by providing direct exposure to diagnostic imaging, AI-powered workflow optimization, and expert-led case discussions. Participants will work with advanced imaging software, structured reporting systems, and real patient cases, gaining practical insights that enhance their diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
Externs in this program gain first-hand experience using cutting-edge AI powered radiology tools that streamline diagnostic processes and improve efficiency.
Our unique training program teaches participants to become proficient in modern radiology software and PACS integration. By working with AI assisted diagnostics, externs can observe how technology enhances radiologists’ accuracy and speeds up case evaluations. They will also learn how to identify critical findings, recognize imaging patterns, and apply clinical correlations to ensure precise diagnoses. Looking to make your resume stand out? Our facility has hosted over 400 foreign & US medical students through our teleradiology externship program. Many went on to secure a coveted US residency position. Students who have completed our program have matched into US radiology residency positions, even as foreign medical graduates! We cannot guarantee our externs will match into US residency, but we can guarantee to enhance your chances.

The externship follows a step-by-step learning model,beginning with foundational concepts and gradually introducing complex cases. Participants will cover essential topics such as chest radiology,neuroimagig, musculoskeletal imaging, and abdominal scans, learning to recognize pathologies, assess imaging artifacts, and generate structured reports. All students are required to complete course assessment midway through, as well as a 30-minute final presentation on a relevant topic in radiology.
At the completion of the program, externs will receive a letter of recommendation, copy of their video presentation and a certificate of completion.
The Teleradiology Externship Program is ideal for medical students or foreign medical graduates looking to match into a US residency position. Our program is in-network with many Caribbean Medical Schools.
We will also accept pre-medical undergraduate students in their junior or senior year, intending on applying to medical school. If you are an undergraduate student, we will require a copy of your transcripts & MCAT score, if applicable. We are not accepting freshman or sophomore students at this time.
Enrollment is open throughout the year, with flexible schedules to accommodate academic and working professionals. Interested candidates can apply by requesting an application. We will require a copy of your college transcripts if you are an undergraduate junior or senior, MCAT score & USMLE scores if applicable, as well as your latest CV.
